Dual Tone Lab

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Dual Tone Lab handles information for dualtonelab.com, product pages, support requests, and products including NEXUS//OPS and IT Support Toolkit.

Information We Collect

Dual Tone Lab may collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company or production details, license type, purchase details, support messages, and files or screenshots you send for support.

This website may also generate standard hosting logs, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, dates, and times. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and basic site operation.

Purchases and Third-Party Checkout

When you buy a product through a third-party checkout provider such as Gumroad, that provider may collect payment, billing, contact, tax, receipt, license-key, and delivery information under its own privacy policy and terms.

Dual Tone Lab may receive order information needed to confirm a purchase, deliver software, provide license support, answer refund questions, and maintain business records.

NEXUS//OPS Product Privacy

NEXUS//OPS is designed as a self-contained cinematic macOS screen-graphics app. It is not real cybersecurity software and does not scan networks, run shell commands, capture credentials, monitor real systems, or collect customer operational data.

Paid builds may verify a license key with a checkout provider during activation and may store activation status locally so the app can continue to run offline afterward. Support requests may require you to send purchase details or basic system information so Dual Tone Lab can help troubleshoot.

IT Support Toolkit Product Privacy

IT Support Toolkit is designed as a local macOS support utility. The app may read technical information from the Mac so users and technicians can understand system health, account context, network status, Wi-Fi quality, live performance, storage, security posture, and related support details.

Core diagnostics are processed locally on the Mac. IT Support Toolkit does not require a Dual Tone Lab account, cloud login, subscription, or remote database for its main functionality, and it does not upload diagnostic results to Dual Tone Lab by default.

The app may let users copy support summaries, copy diagnostic values, export PDF reports, or create support bundles. Users control when this information is shared. Review reports before sending them because technical values may identify the Mac, user account, local network, IP address, hostname, DNS server, or similar support details.

On macOS, access to the current Wi-Fi network name may require Location Services permission. This is used so macOS can allow the Wi-Fi network name to appear in diagnostics; it is not used for advertising or user tracking.

Your Choices

You may contact Dual Tone Lab to request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided, subject to legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and licensing-record requirements. You can also contact third-party checkout providers directly about information they process under their own policies.
